RECORDING: Courage to live with Sensitivity and Awareness

A Threshold recording about living in the in-between spaces

If you listen to our Threshold conversations, living in the in-between space is likely very familiar to you. You understand the liminal. You’re usually gray, not black nor white.

But just because this quality comes naturally, doesn’t mean that it’s easy. We live in a society that prefers black and white perspectives. People who live in the in-between world are swimming upstream.

This creates a paradox.

The more your perceptions are sensitive and ethereal, the more your Truth requires warrior-like courage.

Today, Emily Connor and I consider the ways that sensitivity requires courage in our lives.

Some of the other insights from our talk:

  • [00:02:00] It takes courage to be a Sensitive Person

  • [00:04:30] Asking for what you need isn’t fragility.

  • [00:06:14] Not everyone wants to roll in the Vat of God.

  • [00:08:30] Porcelain can hold really hot stuff

  • [00:17:50]: Different types of courage for different phases of life.

  • [00:22:00] Living a truer story.

Next week: Finding Rest

When do you feel at rest? How do get there? We often find ourselves in the most need of rest when we are least able to locate it.

On Monday, July 14 @ 11:00 CT Emily (A Thin Space) and I will discuss what rest means and ways to find rest when it doesn't seem possible.

Join us Monday, July 14 @11:00am CT.
