RECORDING: The Embodied Intangible

A Threshold recording about living in the in-between spaces

Living in a space that is neither black nor white, right nor wrong, can seem vague and impalpable. Ironically, that's why it's even more important to be fully grounded in your body.

In this Threshold episode, Emily Conway and I talk about how we stay grounded while living in the liminal.

Some of the other insights from our talk:

  • [00:01:30] “What does it mean to be embodied?”

  • [00:04:30] “A kite can’t fly if you don’t hold the string: Grounding the intangible”

  • [00:08:00] “A war with the body—and the start of gratitude”

  • [00:10:30] “Exercise, knitting, and dirt: Finding the bridge”

  • [00:14:00] “Is flow the same as embodiment?”

  • [00:22:30] “Can you be embodied while feeling disembodied?”

Next week: Drawing Boundaries with Compassion and Expansiveness

What are your boundaries? How have you learned to draw them? What happens when they shift?

In this episode Julia and Emily will share their boundary stories and invite you to share yours as we think about what it means to live within spacious limits.

Join us Monday, July 28 @11:00am CT!

NOTE: Emily and I will take the month of August off. We’ll see you back in September with new ways to connect with people who live comfortably in the between spaces.
